When it comes to an e-scooter, the handlebar tube is one of the most crucial structural components. Its strength directly affects rider safety, especially during daily commuting where pulling, braking, pushing, and unexpected impacts are common.
To guarantee the durability of the A8U electric scooter, we conducted a four-direction static load test on the handlebar tube — upward, downward, forward, and backward.
Each direction was loaded with 100kg for 5 minutes, replicating real-world stress and extreme usage conditions.
Test Objective
To validate the structural integrity and long-term durability of the A8U e-scooter’s handlebar tube when subjected to forces from multiple directions that may occur during everyday riding.
Test Overview
1. Four-Direction Static Load (100kg for 5 Minutes Each)
Each test direction represents a different real-world stress scenario:
- Upward Load: simulates pulling or lifting the e-scooter
- Downward Load: simulates compression, impact, or rider weight
- Forward Load: simulates braking or front-impact force
- Backward Load: simulates reverse pulling or backward force
Every direction endured a 100kg static load for 5 minutes, ensuring consistent and measurable pressure on the handlebar tube.
2. The Main Challenge: Securing the E-Scooter
Interestingly, the most difficult part of the test wasn’t the 100kg weight —
it was how to secure the e-scooter firmly so the load could be applied accurately without shifting.
- The downward test was relatively easy to secure
- The upward, forward, and backward tests required creative solutions
Our team used factory structures, support frames, and reinforced ropes to create a stable setup.
After multiple adjustments, a reliable testing environment was successfully established.
3. Teamwork to Lift and Position 100kg
Once the setup was locked in place, our engineers worked together to safely lift and mount the 100kg load for each test direction.
Team coordination and accuracy were essential for completing the static tests.
Test Results|A8U Passed All Static Load Tests
After finishing all four directions of the static load test, the A8U e-scooter showed:
- No deformation
- No cracks
- No loosening
- No structural issues
This confirms the A8U’s excellent frame strength, proving its ability to withstand extreme load conditions.
Conclusion|Safety Is Always Our Priority
The A8U e-scooter is engineered with durability, reliability, and rider safety at its core.
This multi-direction static load test reinforces our commitment to producing high-quality electric scooters that riders can trust.
If you’re looking for an e-scooter built with outstanding structural stability and long-term durability, the A8U is a proven choice.
